November 2020 - Senior Site Reliability Engineer, CX Cloud

I joined Cisco on a recommendation from a former Barracuda colleague to form a “new SRE team” as part of the CX Cloud business unit. During my time on this team we had several primary focuses including

• infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
• reliability consultation and engagement with CX Cloud microservices teams
• liaise with NOC/SOC as part of incident response

November 2023 - Software Engineer, CX Cloud

Switched over to Engineering Productivity team who had assumed responsibility for infrastructure automation of the CX Cloud platform

May 2024 - Software Engineer, Cisco IT (Hybrid Cloud Operations)

The Engineering Productivity team was disbanded following team leads being made redundant, and I found myself with a new opportunity within Cisco IT as part of their Hybrid Cloud Operations team. Responsiblities include:

• more infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
• observability
